1. Consultation and Design:
- Initial Consultation (Free): Begin with a free online meeting or phone call to discuss your vision and the space. I'll ask for pictures of the walls and their dimensions. To better understand your style and aesthetics, I'll also send some images for your feedback. This helps me create a custom-tailored art concept for your space and taste.
- Concept Art Design Fee: Following the initial consultation, a $100 non-refundable concept art design fee is charged, which will be deducted from the mural's final cost. You'll receive 2-3 unique sketches with design options, including one revision round. The concept art design is a creative and time-consuming process that lays the foundation of the project.
2. Final Design Approval and Deposit:
- Final Design Approval: Once you approve a final design, I'll handle the mural installation, providing all necessary materials.
- Deposit: To secure your spot and cover initial materials, a 1/3 deposit is required upon final design approval.
3. Optional Additional Fees:
- Travel and Equipment: Any travel expenses and rental equipment are considered additional fees. These will be discussed during the initial consultation to ensure transparency.
- Paint sealers to protect your mural art are available as an optional add-on.
- Preparation: Preparation work, such as wall priming, use of special equipment (like scaffolding for high walls), and the type of paint used (oil paint tends to be more expensive than acrylic) can also impact the total cost. Outdoor murals may require protective coatings and permits, which add to the price
4. Project Completion and Payment:
- Final Payment: The full final payment is due at 80% completion of the project to ensure the financial completion of our agreement.
*For larger or more complex projects, a special rate with a potential discount can be negotiated, we might also consider tying payments to specific project phases rather than a percentage completion
